May 8, 2012 New Note to authors
All Jagged authors’ books will remain available on lulu.com for a while – if you want to buy copies for yourself you have a month and a half to do so – after that all titles will be cleared from lulu site – this may take a while to clear totally – books which have appeared on amazon will still show on that site for some considerable time – but after a couple of months should not be available for people to purchase – if at any time payments are received for book sales we will pass on any outstanding royalties
We would also recommend that authors get a lulu account and consider self-publishing their own works – or even setting up a publishing company of their own. We will be forwarding the Jagged Books files for covers and text (with the JB info and logos removed) to all published authors – they can re-publish them as they were – using these files on their own lulu account if they wish – give us a couple of months to get this completed.
Once again sorry for the sudden ending and any inconvenience incurred – but your book is not gone – its still on lulu for a few weeks – just no JB website – you can get your own versions on lulu and amazon pretty quick if you want to – so maybe its not too much of a disaster after all

Due to a major personal financial situation the Jagged Books website is currently unavailable – more info to follow – very sorry for inconvenience - this may become a permanent closure due to influences beyond our control…
All authors to be advised soon regarding the status of their book titles – currently still available via the lulu.com website – royalties still apply and any outstanding will be paid soon… we will advise all authors how to keep their books available – though not through Jagged Books -
Very sorry to see this happen – but some crises cannot be overcome…

Jagged Books is very pleased to announce the forthcoming publication of a 3rd Bizarro title from the highly imaginative pen of Stephen Beam. Hallucinations is due out late summer 2012.
Hallucinations
Gilbert lives in small desert town. For most residents, the days pass tediously. Fortunately, Gilbert has brain damage and hallucinates a fascinating menagerie of otherworldly creatures – he is his own biological entertainment system. That’s all well and good for Gilbert but when events occur that cause his visions to enter into the real world, the nightmare begins.
Lizard men, phantoms from space, transexoids, bat-like flying testicles, the desert landscape morphing into canned Spam…the world has never ended this way before. ….

February 13, 2012 the Oblivion Evangelist
Jagged Books is particularly proud to announce the forthcoming publication of Dolly Sen’s darkly humorous masterpiece ‘The Oblivion Evangelist’ which is due out in May 2012.
Sitting in my dingy little bedsit, I forced my own head at gunpoint to think happy, normal thoughts, but it was no good. Trying to ignore the impulse to stick people’s heads onto poles like lollipops gave me a horrible headache…
And so starts this savage and satirical book by Dolly Sen, about a female serial killer who puts many male killers to shame by her brutal creativity.
As a child and teenager Dolly Sen was a film extra, working in Empire Strikes Back as a child alien and in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom as a slave. She knew then she would never have a normal job.
As a writer, she has had 8 books published, been nominated for writing awards over 10 times. When she is not writing, she is doing stuff like saying ‘blowjob’ on BBC Women’s Hour, and screwing lightbulbs into the sky.

February 10, 2012 New Author signed to Jagged
Jagged Books is pleased to announce the signing of a new writer to our growing list…
Paul Checker is a writer of traditional Westerns… with a few twists… amazing gunfights…erotic content…bizarre elements…
Paul is originally from Liverpool but is currently living in Manchester. He has several more titles in the pipeline, as well as a vast collection of short stories.
His first novel ‘Gold Hunt’ will be published by Jagged 
Books in June 2012… We are expecting to publish further works by Paul during the next few years…
Another NEW author of Westerns is also coming our way soon – Deke Robards is the Nom de Plume of a fairly well known American author whose historical romances made it into several best-seller lists in the late 80′s… more info will follow as and when we have more to tell you… but we can say that the first western by Deke Robards will be published sometime this year and will be a mix of shoot-outs and Wild West historical fact…
